October updates

We have had a fun and busy month. The kids are doing well at school and we are finally all healthy!! We have had an assortment of colds and viruses going through our family. Did we have the flu? I don't know, Katie and I had all the symptoms of H1N1, but never went in to be tested-so technically we were just really sick! Luckily for the Halloween holiday we are all well. Carter had a fun field trip at Bonnybrook farm (unfortunately I didn't take pictures), but he enjoyed a hay ride and a visit to the pumpkin patch. Camille started preschool and is having lots of fun.
Sara's fifth grade choir had a concert. She goes to school early one day a week to be a part of the choir. She really likes to sing and enjoys being part of the group. The group did a nice job!

Katie was nominated by her math teacher as student of the quarter. There was a special "Kings Celebration" were all the students were recognized and given a certificate. She is doing wonderful in school. Below is the group of Junior High kids getting there awards.

Carter played soccer this fall and had alot of fun. His team only lost one game and on the 24th we had a team party with ice cream sundaes and trophies.

The ward had a Halloween carnival last night with games and trunk-or-treating. The kids came home with sooooo much candy we teased them that I think we can cancel trick or treating on Saturday. They didn't like that idea, but we have so much junk around right now. Oh, the start of the holiday season! I think I need to make my treadmill work a little more often!
