The many variations of a nativity
I have a nativity that is kid friendly and doesn't cause my to cringe when little fingers touch to explore the set. It seems every time I walk past it though someone has rearrange it into a new design. I wish I took a picture of all of them, some very comical. After a new arrangement Katie or Sara will usually set it back in the traditional formation until Carter and Camille walk past and make it interesting again. Camille's arrangement is the most touching. The figures are always in a close circle with Jesus in the middle. Early in the month I asked her why she kept putting them in the circle like that and she responded it was because Jesus is the most important and everybody needs to see Him-so He should be the middle. What a sweet reminder of where the focus of our Christmas season should be centered on.
