The formula to get a snow day

I will share with you the secret formula known to all school age kids that will guarantee a snow day. But use with caution! This has worked the majority of the time! (Of course we knew a storm was coming). It is a ritual that is popular at our house in the winter.
The first step is to wear your pajama's inside out and backwards.

Next you have to put a spoon under your pillow for the night.

Third, you must turn around three times and flush an ice cube down the toilet.

Finally, do the snow dance, while chanting "no school tomorrow" over and over.

The results: We have a snow day today. School was cancelled to my children's delight. As of know (6:30 pm) it is still snowing. This photo was taken this morning, before the snow really hit! We have alot of the fluffy white stuff now! Snow day tomorrow? In Cincinnati anything is possible. Being from the mountainous west where snow was a part of life I have to laugh sometimes because we get a little of the cold stuff here and the city shuts down. A friend of the girls is planning ahead and already called and asked them to sleep over tonight. She is hopeful! I have things to do so I hope they head off on the big yellow bus of happiness tomorrow!
