May in Review

The Kings Mills Elementary school fourth grade choir was invited by Ohio's first lady, Frances Strickland, to perform at an education rally at Ohio State University. Some of the speakers were governor Ted Strickland, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown, and U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan
District wide 4th grade concert at the High School.

Camille's last day of preschool for the year. She will be attending again next year, but she had a celebration and was given a certificate of achievement.

The family enjoyed a Reds game and the following week, Carter's T-Ball team received two free Reds tickets, so Brad and Carter were able to go a second time.

After Katie's Orchestra concert. It was everything you would expect from a beginning Orchestra performance.

Brad gave me this amazing fruit bouquet for Mothers Day! We all enjoyed eating it!

I know, I know, it has been awhile, but May has been a very busy time for us. May has become worse then December as for activities and happenings. Some nights we have three activities going on. I will try and keep this simple. This month besides all the end of the year projects, reports, and special assignments we have had many parties, orchestra concerts, kindergarten musical, choir concerts, field trips, t-ball, church activity night, dance, poetry readings, art show night, end of year awards ceremony with a picnic, and extra rehearsals for many of the above mentioned. The end of school has become a time for teachers to plan all these events to share what the kids have worked on, and to celebrate, but it makes a very busy time for families. Above are pictures of some of these activities.
