Pumpkins, Kids, and Steelers

We spent our Sunday evening getting ready for Halloween. I forget from year to year how crazy this time is with four little kids. Katie is the only one old enough to finally carve her pumpkin. The others are hanging all over Brad and I trying to "help" and complaining that we are not fast enough. Unfortunately the part the kids can help with (cleaning out the inside) they complain that it's too disgusting. At least the faces they design are easy to carve out. At the end though everyone had a good time and are happy with the jack-o-lantern. The down part of this evening is that Brad had to watch his Steelers lose. He kept taking a brake from the knife to catch the score. We have our costumes, jack-o-lanterns, and candy we are officially ready for Halloween.

Busy at work cleaning out the "guts"

Finally, one child that is independent and can create her own pumpkin! Go Katie!

If you look close, notice the steelers in the background and Brad's jersey on the sofa.

Camille drew this face herself.
