We seem to get at least one good ice storm each year. This year it was after a great snow storm and before more snow. It is beautiful outside, but so cold and very slippery. During these storms the city shuts down and everything is cancelled. My kids had a late start on Monday due to snow and then because of the continued snow and ice mixture the kids haven't had school the rest of the week. They are very happy, but I am getting tired of trying to keep them busy without using the TV too much. It makes it a little difficult considering that the roads can be difficult to drive on. Brad and I laugh because being from the west, we never had school cancelled for snow and we get maybe 2 inches here and everything is a mess. In defense of Ohio, the ice storm can make roads etc. more difficult. But we still find the situation funny! Our families back home just laugh. Now we have the weekend and hopefully my kiddos will make it back to school next week.
The trees and bushes (actually everything) is covered in a layer of ice.
Lady likes the snow until her feet start freezing. At some places the snow was as tall as she is. She had fun for a while out with the kids playing. Silly me though I didn't take pictures of the kids sledding on the hill behind our apartment. They had fun!
