How did we do it?

Today and tomorrow are snow days for my kids because we have a few inches of fluffy stuff outside and more on the way (as well as some freezing rain). To keep busy Katie decided to make cookies, and as I was watching her using the cookies scoop to put dough on the tray, I started thinking back to the day that we used to use a spoon to put dough on the tray. That started me thinking back to the other "new" things that seem to make our life easier-here is what I came up with....

GPS navigation system-----And I thought Mapquest was nice. Love the GPS!!
Laptop---------I can now Blog and check email anywhere.
Ipod---------My music, anytime.
Digital Camera---------------------no more developing bad pictures or wondering if the picture was good.
email-----------------------No more having to pick up the phone for those little questions are comments. So fast now.
cell phone---no more forgetting the kid who was waiting for over an hour at Alta High School- (thanks Mom!) I love that my kids can reach me when necessary.
Internet--Do you remember going to the library to research a paper?
Microsoft word------------no more typewriters with whiteout tape
Bread maker-----the taste of homemade with much less work/time
Salad spinner-- ------------ great for a quick dry with the lettuce.

I wonder-- what will be next?

I know - it's so crazy! And what's more is that you've probably only started using all those things in the last 10 years....Here's to the next 10 years and what it may bring!!!
