The Nutcracker

Last weekend we saw Katie in her dance company's version of the Nutcracker. She is a member of the competition team and also part of the Pre professional ballet group. She danced in four dances and had a few fast (very fast) costume changes. I helped back stage and in the changing room for one of the shows as well as during the dress rehearsal. It was alot of fun for everyone.
Katie is on the right with two of friends before heading back on stage. I have a hard time getting all this make up on her, especially the false eye lashes. Those are a challenge.One of the highlights of being on the dance team is getting the official warm up sweats and duffel bag with her name on it. She was so excited. The front says Mason Dance Center on the right and Kathryn M. on the left. On the back it reads Company Dancer. Her first competition is in March. We will keep you posted.
