We're going to play a game!

Camille has started turning our normal daily activities into a pretend game for herself. No matter what activity I am involved in; laundry, reading, cooking, driving, etc, Camille has a game. It usually starts with, "Lets pretend that you are the mommy that is doing......(whatever I am currently involved with), and I am the big sister Clara (always Clara) that is doing......(whatever she was doing before). It is really funny. Our activities don't change, just our names. If she needs to leave character and speak to her 'real' mom, she'll say "okay, stop the game for a minute". Little kids are the greatest at making life fun. The world is full of pretending and vivid imaginations. Camille has been a great reminder to "play" more often.
